School Field Trips for Grades 6-12
HANDS-ON LEARNING FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL & HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
On our school field trips, students travel through the salt marshes of St. Helena Island and reach a pristine barrier Island that is home to over 260 different species. Hike along dune ridges, and out to a quiet beach that is a popular resting location for shorebirds. This program is hike intensive and focuses on maritime forest flora, fauna and shorebird stewardship.
