Come out on a tour with our naturalist guides and connect with the area’s natural beauty. No experience necessary- we provide all the gear and teach you what you need to know during your kayak or paddleboard tour!

ADVENTURING WITH KIDS

OUR ST. HELENA BASECAMP has amenities like parking, bathrooms and a woodland campus, making it a great starting point for families with younger kids. Our private dock gives us a protected place to begin our tours, giving everyone a chance to get your “sea legs” before setting off.

If you have young kids, the Kayak Safari is your best bet. It has become one of our most popular tours and gives you the chance to see dolphins, pelicans, herons, ibises and more.

DO I NEED ANY PRIOR EXPERIENCE?2023-05-24T18:41:45-04:00

Our tours are for everyone and beginners are welcome! When you arrive, your gear will be ready for you and your guide will teach you everything you need to know to have a great time on the water. The expedition-style sea kayaks are stable and user-friendly.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL?2023-05-24T18:41:51-04:00

You’ll need to cancel prior to 24 hours or you will not be eligible for a refund.

WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?2023-05-24T18:41:19-04:00

If there is lightning, high winds or other weather that would make kayaking unsafe, we will reschedule for another time or give you a full refund. In the event that we decide to cancel for weather, we will make every attempt to contact you before your departure.

Coastal Expeditions guides go above and beyond to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable experience on the water. Average gratuity is 15 to 25% of the tour cost and is greatly appreciated by our guides.
